In the DPR, fighters of the Center group have encircled a large Ukrainian defense node located in Dobropolye. This was reported by the Defense Ministry.
According to the ministry, units of Ukraine's 4th and 15th National Guard brigades, as well as the 425th Skala assault regiment, were surrounded. The blocked enemy formations are being destroyed.
In addition, the ministry said that Russian troops are not halting their offensive in the direction of Aleksandrovka.
Dobropolye is located 30 kilometers north of Krasnoarmeysk. This city remains an important logistics hub for supplying Ukrainian militants. One of the major highways toward Kramatorsk runs from it, where the main road and rail routes converge. The loss of this fortified area will disrupt the supply system of the Ukrainian group in the Donbass and give the Russian army the opportunity to establish control over the entire territory of the DPR.
