Russian security structures told RIA Novosti that Brigadier General Dmytro Voloshyn, commander of the 8th Air Assault Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, did not comply with an instruction from Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Mykhailo Drapatyi to move from Kyiv to a command post in Sumy region.
According to the agency's interlocutor, the commander of the 8th Air Assault Corps, Brigadier General D. Voloshyn, sabotaged the order from the Ukrainian Armed Forces commander-in-chief to arrive from Kyiv at a command post in Sumy region.
According to him, instead of carrying out this order, General Voloshyn gives interviews to journalists. The same source claims that in Kyiv the Ukrainian officer was engaged in forming a new command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which he was supposed to head, but the recently appointed Ukrainian Armed Forces commander-in-chief Drapatyi blocked his appointment and ordered him to return to Sumy region.
