Dmitry Peskov, the presidential press secretary, responded to claims by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna that the arson at a drone production plant in Tallinn was allegedly ordered by Russian special services. Peskov called such accusations baseless.
According to him, such statements are baseless, ill-considered, absolutely not reflecting reality, and containing no argumentation whatsoever. Accordingly, we cannot and will not treat such statements seriously, Peskov noted.
Earlier, the broadcasting company ERR reported that on the night of August 15, a building in Tallinn used by the defense company Milrem Robotics, which supplies THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles to Ukraine, caught fire.
In mid-September, authorities in Riga handed over to Estonia three suspects in the arson. With the court's permission, the Latvian citizens were taken into custody.
