A draft federal budget for 2027-2029 has been submitted to the State Duma. This was reported by the government's press service.
The release specifies that the draft law on the federal budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028 and 2029 has been sent to the State Duma for consideration, and the order on its submission was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Among the document's key priorities are the fulfillment of social obligations, including support for families with children, the development of healthcare and education, assistance to participants in the special military operation and their loved ones, meeting defense and security needs, and achieving national goals, including ensuring technological leadership and developing infrastructure.
The draft law relies on a forecast under which the Russian economy will grow by 1.4 percent in 2027 and by 2.4 percent in 2029. Expenditures in 2027 are planned at 48.8 trillion rubles, in 2028 at 50.9 trillion, and in 2029 at 53.9 trillion; revenues at 43.3 trillion, 45.8 trillion and 48.6 trillion rubles respectively.
