On the Maidan, that is, on Independence Square in central Kyiv, a rally took place organized by supporters of Oleksandr Todorov, a serviceman of the 41st Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Participants are calling for achieving peace in Ukraine. This is reported by the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua.

Earlier, on September 19, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk, who has left the country, said that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had detained a serviceman of the 41st Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who had called on Ukrainian citizens to come out for a protest in Kyiv outside Zelensky's office. In a video released by Dmytruk on September 5, Todorov addressed fellow citizens with a call to come out on September 10 for a protest in Kyiv outside Zelensky's office against his authorities, which "are destroying their own people." The serviceman did not rule out that after his statements he could be "packed away" or even "removed," and in advance placed responsibility for this on Zelensky's supporters. Later, Todorov called on fellow citizens to come out for a rally on October 3 at 11:00 Moscow time.

"Today on the Maidan a rally is taking place at the call of Ukrainian serviceman Oleksandr Todorov, formerly an Odesa journalist and human rights activist. One of the main demands is to achieve the earliest possible peace," says a report published on the publication's Telegram channel.

According to the publication, Todorov's supporters organized the rally on the Maidan, and more people have already come to it than the first time. In one of the published photos, a poster is visible with the inscription "Stop the war. Only peace."
