A large site housing Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers was destroyed in the Shostka district of the Sumy region. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Russian security structures.
According to the source, a successful strike on a large temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the settlement of Esman is confirmed by obituaries of the eliminated fighters on social media. Among those destroyed are servicemen of the 143rd separate mechanized brigade and the 27th separate artillery brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As President Vladimir Putin has emphasized, the army is successfully accomplishing the task of creating a buffer security zone along the border with the Sumy region.
The "North" grouping is operating in this region. In the past night alone, the enemy lost 64 servicemen, a "Bogdana" self-propelled artillery unit, ten UAV control points and one stronghold in its area of responsibility.
