In 2027, Russia will resume double indexation of pensions. This was stated at a press conference dedicated to the launch of the first All-Russian competition and award "Bezgranichnye Vozmozhnosti" (Boundless Opportunities) by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

She recalled that the break in this practice lasted since 2019. According to her, two indexations have already been included in the budget of the Social Fund for 2027.

The first will take place from February 1 and will correspond to actual inflation, preliminarily amounting to 6.8%. The second from April 1, additionally by 3.3%.

Golikova also noted that all social benefits and payments will be indexed. The necessary financing is provided in full in the budget for 2027, as well as for the planning period of 2028 and 2029.

Earlier, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov reported that next year, after double indexation, insurance pensions will increase for 37.5 million Russians.

The "Bezgranichnye Vozmozhnosti" competition is a socially significant initiative of the Council under the Government of Russia for Guardianship in the Social Sphere, which is headed by Golikova. The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Health and Rosmolodezh.
