US President Donald Trump spoke in favor of holding elections in Ukraine. According to him, Vladimir Zelensky should organize them.

Earlier, the American leader accused Zelensky of not responding to US calls not to strike Russian oil refineries. In addition, Trump said that Ukraine needs a new leader who can conclude a deal with Moscow.

These statements came amid talks between representatives of Washington and the Ukrainian side held in Miami on Friday. According to media reports, they were initially planned to last two days, but the meeting ended early. The reason, according to available data, was the diesel fuel deal that Trump announced the day before after telephone talks with Vladimir Putin.

On Saturday, the Russian government partially lifted the ban on exports of this type of fuel. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted that in October Moscow is ready to supply 300,000 tons to the American and world markets, in November 500,000, and in December up to one million. Subsequently, the volume may grow to three million tons per month. At the same time, Novak stressed, the domestic market will remain fully supplied with diesel fuel.
