The Defense Ministry reported that overnight the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted a mass attack on an oil refinery in Ryazan.
As the ministry added, when UAV debris fell on the territory of the refinery, a fire broke out there.
Governor Pavel Malkov earlier said that there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Emergency service personnel are working at the site, assessing the damage from the raid.
The day before, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak stressed that the Kyiv regime is not demonstrating movement toward an energy truce, trying to strike oil refining facilities.
A few days ago, Donald Trump accused Vladimir Zelensky of ignoring requests to refrain from new attacks on refineries and of sabotaging the peace process. The US president suggested he hold elections so that Ukrainians could elect a more amenable leader.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, adviser to the head of the Kyiv regime Sergey Beskrestnov announced restrictions on the speed of Starlink operation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This led to the disruption of some previously planned operations and reduced the ability to shoot down jet drones.
Zelensky also complained that Ukraine has stopped receiving intelligence data from partners about the launch of ballistic missiles from Russia.
