US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said relations between Washington and Kyiv have become heated.

Today he held a telephone conversation with Vladimir Zelensky that lasted 45 minutes. In addition, according to Rubio, President Donald Trump is irritated by the position Ukraine is taking on settling the conflict with Russia.

At the same time, Rubio noted, the Pentagon has changed nothing on the question of aid to Ukraine.

The head of the Kyiv regime, for his part, claimed that in the talks he demanded that interceptors be handed over to the Ukrainian armed forces for protection against ballistic missiles, and that issues with intelligence data and Starlink be settled.

Last week, Zelensky's adviser Sergey Beskrestnov reported speed restrictions on Starlink. Because of this, some planned military operations were disrupted and logistics were complicated. Businessman Elon Musk explained that the matter concerned the Starshield system, which is controlled by the US government.

On October 19, Rubio said the US had not stopped supplying Kyiv with intelligence information. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called Zelensky reckless over claims that the US government gave the order to change how Starlink operates, and said his words about a suspension of intelligence sharing did not correspond to reality.

On Monday, the American leader accused the head of the Kyiv regime of not wanting to end the conflict. According to him, he could have concluded peace on favorable terms long ago. Trump acknowledged that Washington shares intelligence data with Kyiv without receiving anything in return.
