The overnight attack by Ukrainian forces hit the building of the Lugansk telephone company. This was reported by the head of the LNR, Leonid Pasechnik, who noted that people may be under the rubble.
According to Pasechnik, all emergency services and local authorities are involved in dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
The head of the republic also reported that three residents of the LNR died in the past day as a result of the enemy's actions. In the Novoaidarsky municipal district, a Luganskgaz employee died as a result of a UAV strike on an official vehicle.
In addition, Ukrainian forces attacked a passenger car on the Kirovsk - Frunze road section, where two men died from their injuries.
The head of the region added that in total the military destroyed about fifty air targets over the LNR.
