According to US President Donald Trump, a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict is now closer than ever. The head of the White House said this, RIA Novosti reports.
Trump noted that a few days ago he discussed ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis with Vladimir Putin.
Earlier, the American president expressed dissatisfaction that Kyiv is not ready for a peaceful settlement and does not want to stop strikes on Russian oil refineries. In his opinion, Ukraine needs a new leader capable of reaching an agreement with Moscow.
