The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian forces carried out a massive overnight strike on Ukraine's military-industrial complex.
The ministry's summary stated: "Enterprises <...> involved in the production and storage of cruise missiles and long- and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles, transport infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, port infrastructure in Odesa region and maritime vessels used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were hit."
In the Ukrainian capital, the targets of the attack were the facilities listed in the Defense Ministry's statement.
In Odesa region, the port of Kiliya was hit, where Western military aid is unloaded and stored, as well as a dry cargo ship heading to Chornomorsk with products for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
For the attack, the troops used high-precision ground-based weapons and drones.
The Defense Ministry has repeatedly stressed that Russian forces strike infrastructure and logistics to reduce the enemy's military-economic potential. At the same time, the troops use weapons capable of destroying any target throughout Ukrainian territory.
