A Belarusian citizen was injured in a drone attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Bryansk region. This was reported by the head of the region, Egor Kovalchuk.

According to him, near the village of Demenka in the Novozybkov city district, a truck driver was wounded as a result of a drone explosion. Medics provided the injured man with the necessary assistance, and outpatient treatment was prescribed. Kovalchuk published the message on the "Max" platform.

Earlier on Thursday, Kovalchuk said that another Belarusian had been injured when the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a truck parking area in the Zhukovsky district. The republic's Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti that the injured man had been hospitalized and that his life was not in danger.

This is not the first such incident in recent times. Two weeks ago, Ukrainian UAVs attacked a truck with Belarusian registration in the Bryansk region. It was reported that the injured woman was in intensive care in an extremely serious condition and had had her limbs amputated.

In mid-June, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used a drone to attack a bus carrying a children's football team from the Gomel region; the children were traveling on holiday to Gelendzhik. A woman was killed and eight people were injured, six of them children. Criminal cases were opened in Russia and Belarus under terrorism articles.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry had warned Kyiv that Minsk retains the right to retaliatory measures after such strikes.
