Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said Sevastopol has been left without electricity. He named an attack on energy infrastructure located outside the city as the cause.
Social facilities, according to him, have switched to backup power supply schemes.
"Right now specialists are doing everything possible to restore power to homes," the city head added.
In addition, Razvozhayev urged people to conserve phone battery: use gadgets only for emergency communication, turn off background applications and set brightness to a minimum.
In response to enemy attacks, the Russian army strikes decision-making centers, enterprises and warehouses that the Ukrainian Armed Forces use together with NATO specialists.
Servicemen are using strike drones and long-range precision weapons capable of destroying any target both in Kyiv and across all Ukrainian territory.
