Russian security forces told RIA Novosti that the Ukrainian military is preparing sabotage in Sumy region. According to the source, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have deployed a significant number of Special Operations Forces (SOF) units there for this purpose.
The same source noted that communications and coordination among these units in Sumy region are provided by Ukraine's 111th SOF signals regiment.
President Vladimir Putin has previously emphasized that the army is successfully carrying out the task of creating a buffer security zone along the border with Sumy region. The "North" group operates in this region.
According to data on enemy losses, in the area of responsibility of the group alone overnight it lost 64 servicemen, a "Bogdana" self-propelled artillery system, ten UAV control points and one strongpoint.
