Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Russian diesel fuel can sometimes be found on European markets, sold under different brands. Europe, he recalled, has imposed a ban on purchases of oil and petroleum products from Russia.

Novak said this in an interview with Pavel Zarubin, the author of the Vesti information program.

"Such cases are possible, because Europe banned the purchase of Russian oil and petroleum products, but we see that under different brands Russian diesel sometimes appears in Europe," the interviewer quoted him as saying.
