In the Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions, operators of strike drones of the Vostok group of forces disrupted the rotation of Ukrainian units. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, automotive and armored equipment of the enemy was destroyed, including HMMWV and Kozak armored vehicles.

According to the ministry, during aerial reconnaissance, UAV operators of the Vostok group detected the movement of Ukrainian units in the Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The Russian Defense Ministry added that the enemy tried to carry out a rotation and move personnel to forward positions using combat armored vehicles and automotive equipment.

It is noted that the Russian military consistently struck the identified targets with FPV drones. Enemy vehicles with infantry and cargo, as well as combat armored vehicles moving toward Ukrainian positions, came under fire. Some of the equipment was hit directly on movement routes together with the fighters inside it.

"As a result of the strikes, the rotation of Ukrainian units was disrupted, automotive equipment and combat armored vehicles, including HMMWV and Kozak armored vehicles, as well as enemy personnel, were destroyed," the statement says.

A strike drone operator with the call sign Igrok, whose words are cited in the statement, said: "The priority is mainly equipment. We work on the enemy's logistics routes: pickup trucks, vehicles with trailers, trucks. We also work on infantry."

He explained that FPV drones are capable of carrying about 2.5-3 kilograms of payload. Depending on the assigned task, fragmentation, cumulative or thermobaric munitions are installed on them.

According to the operator, an engineer is responsible for preparing the drone for flight, installing the munition and bringing the device to readiness, after which the crew begins carrying out the combat task.
