According to the results after processing 100% of the protocols in Bulgaria's presidential election, Iliana Yotova won, according to data from the republic's Central Election Commission. 57.57% of voters voted for her.

Her main rival, Andrey Gyurov, who previously served as acting prime minister, received 39.48% of the vote.

The powers of head of state passed to Yotova by law after Rumen Radev resigned in January of this year. After leaving office, he created his own political movement, won the parliamentary elections with it and headed the republic's government.

Yotova has spoken out against drawing Bulgaria into the conflict in Ukraine and against the country's participation in the "coalition of the willing." As an alternative, she proposed forming a "coalition for peace" at the European level and using diplomatic channels for a settlement. During the election campaign in September, she said she intended to pursue peace between Moscow and Kyiv.
