The `Transformers` actor admits he and his wife - who is a member of the Black Eyed Peas - try to attend a Christian service when they can, but now the NFL football season is starting he may not be able to attend as much as would like.
He said: "My wife and I like to go to church if we`re in town. On Sundays, I try to be as chill as I can, whether I`m watching golf or barbecuing.
"Now football season is starting so that will pretty much cover my Sundays for a while."
The 37-year-old big screen hunk also admits he is quite different to his bachelor character in new movie `Life as We Know It` and he insists he would be able to look after a baby if he and Fergie started a family.
He told Parade.com: "I have three younger sisters, so my mom put me to work. One was born when I was in high school and another when I was in college. I`ve had some practice."
Josh has previously revealed getting married to Fergie in January 2009 helped him become a "better man".
He said: "It was really important to me to have somebody who wanted success for me, who wanted the best for me, who pushed me and inspired me to be better. Not somebody who, for whatever reason, whether resentment or jealousy or whatever, will hold you back. I went through that once before.
"I knew early on that Fergie was right for me. She`s got an incredible strength and optimism. I knew that I was going to be a better man with her."
