Lourdes banned from dressing up for school

Madonna has banned her daughter from dressing up for school - insisting the teenager`s favorite revealing outfits should be kept for nights out. The pair has teamed up for the singer`s new Material Girl clothing line, with 13-year-old Lourdes designing a range of rock-chic pieces.

But Madonna is adamant her daughter should dress sensibly for lessons at New York`s prestigious LaGuardia Arts academy. Lourdes says, "No too low V-necks and I`m not allowed to wear shorts, like short shorts, unless I wear tights with them."

The "Holiday" hitmaker explains, "School`s not a nightclub, that`s what I say to her `Are you going to school or a nightclub?` "
