Kendra, 25, told People magazine: "I can tell you that Hef is my closest friend. I`m not just saying that. He makes sure he writes to us every chance. He`s always thinking about us, and that`s a real friend. "I want Hef to see how my life is, it`s just great. I`m just excited to catch up on things. Hef is so happy to see us and we`re so excited to see him." Kendra insists that her former lover is equally concerned about her husband`s welfare and is constantly checking in with them. She added: "Hef always says, `I`m thinking about you.` He asks, `How are you guys doing? Are you doing OK?` " Meanwhile, the 84-year-old media mogul celebrated his second anniversary with girlfriend Crystal Harris on 31.10.10. The couple celebrated with a group of their friends and had a "really memorable" evening. He tweeted: "Crystal & I are celebrating our Second Anniversary today. We met two years ago at a Mansion Halloween party. "We`re home in bed after a really memorable Halloween weekend & a night of celebration with the Playmates. Happy Anniversary, Crystal. (sic)"
