LINDSAY LOHAN is due in court today accused of stealing a £1,500 necklace. The actress, 24, will be charged with taking the jewellery from a shop in Los Angeles. Cops were due to search LiLo`s home but the necklace was turned in before a search warrant could be carried out. A charge for theft would bring the Mean Girls star closer to a prison sentence. She is still on probation for a drink-driving case in 2007 and a judge threatened to jail her if she ran into trouble again. Lohan`s solicitor Shawn Chapman Holley has previously denied any wrongdoing by his client. Earlier this week, he said in a statement: "We vehemently deny these allegations, and if charges are filed we will fight them in court."
