The Russian Foreign said, "All efforts would be made to reach a consensus on the issue" and India would be kept informed, the spokesman said. The IAEA meeting on Iran`s nuclear issue is scheduled for November 24. The US has threatened that if Teheran does not get back to the negotiating table by then, the meeting will vote against making the issue to be referred to the UN Security Council. India has said it wanted the issue to be resolved amicably without being referred to the UN Security Council. Singh and Valrov also reviewed the bilateral relations and follow-up to the recent Joint Commission Meeting. The upcoming meeting of Ministers of Russia, China and India in March 2006, which will be followed by the meeting of business delegations of the three countries, also figured in the conversation between the two leaders, Sarna said.
