The actress raises three adopted kids, Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, and six-year-old Zahara, with her long-term partner Brad Pitt and she admits neither she nor Brad hide their family`s history from them.
The 35-year-old Hollywood star - who also has three biological children, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with the 47-year-old actor - took her entire brood to see a rough cut of her new animated movie `Kung Fu Panda 2`, which explores adoption, but she wasn`t too concerned about any awkward questions afterwards.
She said: "I wondered how they`d respond to the themes of the film. We were sensitive to see if there was going to be a big discussion that night about adoption and orphanages. (There wasn`t) but that`s because we talk about those issues at my house all the time, very openly. We`ve had those discussions so often, they`re such happy, wonderful discussions."
Angelina - who voices the character of Master Tigress in the film, while Jack Black provides the speech for panda Master Po - also revealed her six children were a useful sounding board to determine what was funny in the movie and what didn`t work.
She told the USA Today newspaper: "They`ll sit in a room and say, `That`s just not funny.` They keep you competitive, even if they think Jack Black is always cooler than mom."
