Catherine wore a radiant red gown as she handed out the gongs for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, which were won by Mark Rylance for `Jerusalem` and Norbert Leo Butz for `Catch Me If You Can` respectively.
And the 41-year-old `Chicago` star - who picked up a Tony last year for her performance in the Broadway revival of `A Little Night Music` - admitted she would consider doing a show in London, but is yet to receive any offers.
She said: "I got my big break tap dancing in `42nd Street` in London. That`s where it all started and I would love to do a show in London again but no one has asked me."
`South Park` creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone`s `The Book of Mormon` dominated the awards, winning nine accolades including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre.
The `Normal Heart` won three gongs including Best Revival of a Musical at the event which was held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
