The Take That singer admits he now feels "silly" singing his hit `Bodies` - which features the line "Jesus didn`t die for you" - because his views on religion and spiritualism have changed.
He said: "My truths are ever changing. If you`ve been following me closely I have said that `Bodies` was `gibberish`. The gibberish I refer to is the Jesus bit. I mean, who the f**k am I?
"It made sense to me at the time? but it doesn?t now. Am I allowed a change of heart?
"I`m gutted though `cos singing that song now doesn`t seem right? I may have to change the lyric for the next tour.
"I haven`t found God or anything like that but she just might have found me.(sic)"
The 37-year-old singer - who has previously battled depression and addictions to alcohol and drugs - also revealed he has finally learned to be "happy" and not get upset by criticism.
He wrote on his blog: "I`ve nearly filled the whole (sic) where criticism used to be? feels mighty. Who knew that it was a choice to take it on board or not?
"I kind of did but didn`t believe in my own strength? As for service to others, I do bits and then retreat. I hope as I mature this changes.
"We do get `hard wired` to believe certain things about our selfs (sic), negative, soul/life destroying stuff and when you believe your hard wiring that chasm seems impossible to get out of? It isn`t? It`s a choice.
"In the past year some sort of vail (sic) has dropped for me revealing a beautiful truth but it`s taken a lot of vigilance? catching old negative thoughts and batting them away minute after minute, day after day?
"A big one for me was the fact that being 40 isn`t too far away. I don`t have the time any more to treat myself the way I did? Things had to change. I can choose happy - What a gift."
