Sales volume for graphic tablets of medium and high price in Russia is going to increase in 2006 by 1,5, experts say. The list of application, in which using digital pen is more comfortable that traditional mouse, is widening. Russian subdivision of Wacom corporation predicts sales volume for graphic tablets of medium and high price will rise in Russia to $4 m. During the last year the company strengthened its presence on regional markets by attraction to work of some important local partners. Wacom realized some successful programs of partners` supporting and in education. Moreover, the company made all marketed resources in Russia to be russianized opportunely. Wacom in Russia is not going to stop. Now the company Wacom is promoting three products on Russian market: ultra-slim and compact graphic tablet PenPartner2 for using with notebooks, graphic tablet Graphire-4 for working with digital images and the first large graphic tablet Intuous A5 Wide. There is going to be some widening of scope for Wacom production. Graphic tablets and interactive pen displays widely used in 3D-design and animation, industrial design (especially in automobile designing at the point of projection and sketch drawing), in educational process. Wacom Russia with Moscow Department of Education made several deliveries of equipment to Moscow educational institutions. Wacom company production is used in hand-written information inputting. Graphic tablets are going to be more and more slim and that lets hand to move free on a table.
