Team Russia have returned from the Beach Football World Cup, after stunning defending champions Brazil to claim their first-ever global crown. ╜The Brazilans went into the final aiming for their fifth straight title, but Russia had blazed a perfect trail throughout the tournament and didn`t lose their rhythm. Dmitry Shishin helped himself to a hat-trick, while Andrey Bukhlitsky was a rock between the posts on the way to an historic victory. The team touched down at Moscow`s Domodedovo airport on Monday, where they were greeted by a crowd of grateful fans. "Every time we`ve gone to the World Cup prior to this we`ve stumbled at one point or another. However, we kept working and correcting those mistakes. So, this is our hard work paying off," Bukhlitsky said. Russian beach soccer squad are showing a superb game this season, as they not only claimed their first-ever World Cup, but also won the Euroleague back in August.
