Katherine Jenkins is not ready for a relationship

The Welsh singer - who is currently competing on `Dancing with the Stars` - recently split from fiance Gethin Jones and she insists she isn`t interested in romance at the moment.

Addressing rumours linking her to her professional dancer partner Mark Ballas, Katherine said: "It`s inevitable but it`s just complete nonsense. We have totally hit it off and we`re having a great time. But he came to London to start training me and within - I think within 12 hours - is all it took before there was that first photo and immediately we were of course dating, which it`s not true. He has a girlfriend and I`m not ready, I`m not ready for any of that yet. I`m just going to concentrate on the dancing."

Katherine is one of the favourites to win the show after topping the leaderboard for the first two weeks but she insists she`s not taking anything for granted.

She told TV show `Daybreak`:"I don`t think I was quite prepared for what a massive show it is here and things have definitely changed. In the last few weeks people are coming up to me in restaurants and wanting to talk about Jiving and all this, and paparazzi following and yes, things are different now over here. But I`m honestly just loving the dancing, we`re having so much fun.

"I`m not taking anything for granted. I`m very much a sort of new face to America, so considering it`s half a public vote - I really didn`t want to take anything for granted. But I`m thrilled to be going through to the next week."
