Microsoft and Associated Press have signed an agreement of creation of a new information channel which is going to be transmitted by the internet, USA Today reported. New mass media will begin its work in the first quarter of 2006. AP subscribers - 3500 newspapers and TV stations - will get free access to the channel. It is expected that the creation of Microsoft and Associated Press will raise money by advertisement. Mass media will have to pay in case of using transmitted material. It is known that AP clients will have to pay some of their profit from using information. Microsoft will give its technologies to the new informational channel and will search for advertisers, Associated Press will give content. It is expected that there will be more than 50 subjects during one day. Other details of the agreement were not disclosed. It is unknown how participants are going to share income with each other.
