A radio show entitled Funky Sensations has caused a real sensation after listeners in the UK came across "sounds of porn" played on air for up to five minutes in the background to jazz music. ­Many couldn`t believe their ears when they heard "sounds of sexual activity" on Jazz FM, a radio station that boasts an audience of about half a million listeners. Communications watchdog Ofcom later explained that a member of station staff accidentally opened a personal email on the studio computer with a pornographic content web link. The problem was, he left the sound fader linked to this computer open on the broadcast console. According to The Daily Telegraph, several listeners complained after they heard the pornographic soundtrack played in the background during music and adverts. Ofcom says Jazz FM violated the broadcasting code, and the station has issued an apology on its website and social networks.
