The `Applause` hitmaker has opened up about her sexual past and insisted she only "fell in love" when she was convinced a man could have the same energy as the women she`d been with. Speaking on `Watch What Happens Live`, she revealed: "It`s similar to how I feel about guys. "I like them because I find lesbians to be way more daring than straight men, when it comes to coming on to you. And I really like that. "And it wasn`t until I found a guy that could come onto me as strong as a lesbian that I fell in love." The outspoken star - who is dating actor Taylor Kinney - said she wasn`t discussing her preference just "to be shocking", explaining she is genuinely attracted to women. She added: "I like girls. I`ve said that (before). I know people think I just say things to be shocking, but I actually do like p***y. It just depends on whose p***y it is." The 27-year-old singer also spoke candidly about her previous career as a "burlesque dancer" and noted she earned more as a performer than she would have done as a waitress. She said: "I made more money stripping than waitressing ... I didn`t show too much - I was a burlesque dancer. "Because my family`s European, for me it wasn`t that weird and I didn`t do anything super seedy - although my dad didn`t think so."
