Largest network of fast food in whole world McDonald`s intends to invest more than $30 millions in opening of restaurants in Russia. This is less than in 2005 when $40 millions was spent. In 2005 McDonald`s will open 20 restaurants, in 2006 - more than 20 restaurants and 12 McCafe. Company produces about 70 thousands tons of its production in Russia, 8% are exported. Production characteristics increase level of 2004 by 15%. At present moment 135 McDonald`s restaurants work in 37 towns of Russia, 37 thousands of people are occupied there. First restaurant opened in 1990 on Pushkin square in Moscow. McDonald`s restaurants serve 0.5 millions of visitors, who eat 950 thousands of pies, 1.15 millions of "Big Mac" sandwiches, 2.55 millions of fries and drink about 2 millions liters of drinks.
