MOSCOW, November 14 - Twenty-seven citizens of China and Vietnam staying in Moscow illegally have been detained, an official at the Federal Migration Service /FMS/ told Itar-Tass on Monday. "Last weekend, police busted a drug den in the territory of a former motor-transport depot in Karyer Street. A search on the premises found many ecstasy tablets," the official said. In the course of the operation, police detained seven Vietnamese women and three Vietnamese men, and 17 citizens of China, he added. The detainees had fake migration and registration cards, the Federal Migration Service said. The documents on eight detained Chinese were sent to court which has to rule on their deportation. The others, whose offenses were not so serious, will have their sojourn in the country shortened and a deadline will be set for their living Russia, the FMS said.
