British researchers studied more than 500 comedians both sexes, concluded that humorists and satirists have psychotic features, reports the Russian service of BBC. According to specialists in psychology, people who laugh profession, are seen as strong introverts, with all that periodically they experience extreme level of extroversion. Dr. Gordon Claridge, the employee of the Department of experimental psychology in Oxford Institute, said that the creative components, necessary for creation of humor, remarkably similar to components which characterize the cognitive style of behavior of people with psychosis, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. According to the version researcher, schizophrenic psychosis can have disastrous results for the sense of humor, but can improve the ability of the planet to invent extraordinary things or think extraordinary. Manic thinking, which is in line with bipolar disorder, can help people to combine simple ideas for developing new, creative and playful ideas, added Claridge.
