More than 230 criminal cases were opened for illegal migration in Russia, the head of Federal Migratory service (FMC) Konstantin Romodanovsky informed on Thursday in a program "Man and Law". "More than 230 criminal cases were opened for organization of illegal migration already and I consider we now have something to think about", - said Romodanovsky. He noticed length of punishment provides for up to 5 years of imprisonment. According to Romodanovsky "labour migration is a forced situation in Russia". "There are serious deficiencies in man power. We need working hands, working fellows occupied in building and farming", - said the head of FMC. Moreover he said people who work in Russia on legal ground will have support and protection from state. "But if you are illegal forced or can not determine your legal status on account of some unbiased reasons we are ready to help to legalize in legal framework", - noticed Romodanovsky. He specified Federal Migratory service is going to start a data base which will function online.
