President of Russian Federation will participate in 2-weeks meeting of Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The heads of government and state will hold first session in the afternoon of November 18. Members of Business Council will state results of their work to heads of states. In this Council Russia is represented by president of Vneshtorgbank Andrey Kostin, deputy of "Gasprom" president Alexander Medvedev and the head of "Russian Aluminium" Council of directors Oleg Derispask. After meeting president of south Korea No Mu Hen will greet guests at festive supper. On Saturday leaders will hold another session in narrow circle - usually the majority of meetings take place without ministers or deputies. Within the borders of summit Russian president will hold serial of bilateral meetings including the ones with heads of Chinese People`s Republic, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, and, possibly, USA. At present moment Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation is the largest world organization of trade-economic cooperation. The total amount of states-participants` population exceeds 2.5 milliards of people, their gross domestic product - $19 trillions. "APEC is the most representative and perspective mechanism of economic integration, which forms "rules of game" in economics on base of consensus and voluntaryism", - noted deputy of Russian president. Except Russia members of organization are Australia, Brunei, Vietnam, Hon Gong, Indonesia, Canada, China, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua-New Guinea, Peru, USA, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Chili, South Korea and Japan.
