November,18 - In the capital of a self-proclaimed republic Pridnestrovye government announced opening of mint. As the deputy chief of Pridnestrovsk Republic Bank Yury Tverdohleb said: "We came to the conclusion that it would be more profitable to organize production of coins in the Republic than to get them from abroad." Tverdohleb informed that equipment for the factory was bought in Germany. "We are sure that purchases are of high quality and they will work effectively. In addition to coins we will be able to produce tokens", - noted the official. Pridnestrovye inhabitants will have a chance to see first coins on Monday. From all unrecognized republics located on the territory of Commonwealth of Independent States, Pridnestrovye is the only one which has its own currency.
