During meeting in South Korea leaders of Asian-Pacific Cooperation urged Russia and Vietnam to join World Trade Organization. Final document of Pusan declaration was read by president of Korea No Mu Hen. During declaration proclaiming leaders of APEC presented not in official costumes but in colorful Korean robes. "APEC forum doesn` t have prepared agenda, leaders discuss questions important to them in relaxed environment". Summit of APEC took place in Pusan on November 18-19. On Saturday leaders of national delegations held session in narrow circle, and then conversation continued during dinner. After that South Korean president read final declaration. The theme was "Security and clarity of Asian-Pacific region". Leaders discussed measures of struggle against terrorism and threat of bird flu, problems of poverty liquidation, energetic security protection. At present moment Russia made bilateral negotiations with 50 out of 58 countries (European Union as one country) about Russian joining of World Trade Organization. Besides USA, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Columbia, negotiation process continues with Malaysia, Philippines and Uruguay. During summit conflicts of anti-globalists and police took place. But demonstrates couldn`t reach place of meeting on high level which was encircled by thousands of policemen. At present moment 148 countries are members of World Trade Organization. Russia along with other countries has a status of observer. Next summit of APEC will take place in Vietnam in 2006.
