Communication to rise in price

Tariffs on telephone communication will rise at level 10-12% per year within several next years.
This was informed by vice-director of Ministry of Information and Communication Boris Antonuk during committee session over natural monopolies of Federation Council.
Meanwhile the primary task of government for 2006-2008 years is to decrease inflation from current 11-11.5% to 4.5-5.5%. Since 2006 government expects inflation of approximately 8%.
Therefore, announcement of Boris Antonuk means, that services of communication will either rise in price faster than inflation growth or "speed inflation up". The other variant is that vice-director of Ministry of Information and Communication doesn`t believe in plans of government to reduce inflation.
Railway monopoly suggested to set highest tariffs on passenger long-distance transportations at level of 12% since 2006, 11% - since 2007, 10% - since 2008.
Average growth of prices on gas will amount to 11% in 2005. Prices on gas for industrial organizations will increase by 10.5%, for population by 11.9%. Price on gas will depend on location of region - how close it is situated to region of mining.
