More than 50% of shares of public corporation "AutoVAZ" at present moment belong to state company "Rusoboronexport". This was informed by governor of Samara oblast Konstantin Titov. By his words, organization needs support of government for reconstruction of debts and production. The governor of Samara oblast promised that way out of crisis situation should not affect workers of plant and budget of region. In particular, the matter concerns formation of new working places for people who will be discharged during reconstruction. As a reminder, month ago the head of "AutoVAZ" director`s board has changed. Vladimir Kadannikov, who took up this post since 1988, resigned from leading position. Next meeting of shareholders, where directors` board will be elected, is planned on December 22, 2005.
