"About 70 criminal cases were opened in 2005 regarding offences in circulation of adulterated drugs
and consumer rights’ violation in the field of quality maintenance of foodstuffs and their safety for health", press-cutting service of the Office of Public Prosecutor informs.
Courts have tried 50 criminal cases concerning with such violations of the law now, said the press-cutting service.
There is noticed in press release that the Office of Public Prosecutor with Moscow Department of health protection examined 62 pharmaceutical enterprises in the city.
Different violations of current legislation were uncover in the course of examination: drugstores sold medical products with expired use-by dates, drugs which had been rejected by Roszdravnadzor were detected in some drugstores.
