In Donezk oblast for 1986-2005 period 223 children were born from HIV-positive women, including 371 children for 9 months of 2005. This was informed by regional center of prevention and struggle against Aids. During observation 1235 children are examined, among them 224 are HIV-positive. During 9 months of 2005 there were 667 case of pregnancy among HIV-infected. That is by 75 pregnancies more than last year.
