On December 3 and 4 a world famous ethnic Japanese show Taikoza will take place in International Moscow House of Music. Taikoza is one of most demanded and famous group of Japan drummers. Taiko means "big drum which sounds like thunder and tender murmur of creek at the same time". Taikoza is a group of Japanese percussion instruments "taiko", which uses powerful rhythms to create energy, which helps public to feel salutary force of drummers. History of "taiko" drummers is more than 2 thousands years. Fireworks (hanabi), which are used in the show, are prepared by ancient Japanese recipes, more than 400 years old. Playing "taiko" always accompanies traditional dances, holidays, theatric performances, rituals of 2 main religions in Japan - syntoism and Buddhism. Last album Taikoza was marked by several awards, among which is Folks Music Award 2004.
