First parliamentary election is held in Chechen republic Sunday.
People have to elect 58 deputies for parliament of two houses which consists of Republic Council (18 people representatives) and Public assembly (40 posts). 20 of them will be elected by party lists and 20 in single member constituencies.
Deputies for Republic Council will be elected in administrative and territorial single member constituencies.
345 candidates pretend to 58 parliamentary posts including 106 on unified party lists from eight All-Russian political parties: "United Russia", CPRF, URF, LDPR, "Narodnaya volya", "Rodina", "Yabloko" and "Evrazisky soyuz".
430 election centers will work in the republic. All of them will be protected by policemen strenuously.
24000 policemen and soldiers will provide for security during election. Members of election committee will be protected twenty-four hours a day.
Election centers are opened at 8:00 and close at 18:00.
Elections are considered to be completed if 25% of population come to centers. 596691 voters registered in Chechen republic.
