20 tons of activated charcoal delivered to Habarovsk
On Tuesday at 9:00 by local time transport airplane Il-76 of Russian Emergency Ministry delivered 20 tons of activated charcoal for Habarovsk refinement constructions.

By information of Far East regional center of Russian Ministry of Emergency, 1332 bags with activated coal will be used for protection of Habarovsk water supplying points from poison of Chinese river Sungari. Slick bars will be set in Amur from these bags to refine toxic water in case it comes to town.
There are 11 water supplying points in Habarovsk krai, from them 7 are situated in Habarovsk, 2- Komsomolsk-na-Amur, 1 - in Amursk and Nikolaevsk each. There are no open water supplying points in Jewish autonomous oblast. Population is supplied with water from artesian wells and private wells.
Experts of Emergency Ministry suppose that toxic water will appear near Nizhneleninskoe settlement at Chinese-Russian frontier by December 6-7, near Habarovsk water supplying point - by December 10-12, near Komsomolsk-na-Amur - by December 15-17.
Earlier the head of Russian Ministry of Emergency Sergey Shoigu declared that spot containing toxic substances can reach territory of Russian on November 28. As a reminder, toxic substances will get into Amur from Sungari river, which was polluted as a result of explosions at chemical plant in China on November 13.
