Usually at night from December 31 to January 1 main festive events take place in Central district of Moscow. This year 4 large concert stages will work in the center. From 22:30 "New Year Carnival" starts on Tverskaya Suare, and on Theater Suare - "New Year Fantasy -2006". At the same moment New Year disco will take place on Lubyanskaya Square. At 23:30 performance "Clocks strike on Spasskaya Tower!" will start on Red Square. All events will last till 01:30 a.m. "Then Muscovites will head to own districts. There will be night performances held in every district since 01:00 till 03:00 a.m. Experience has showed that people need this service". Along with that it will be prohibited to organize "unsanctioned" fireworks in the town. Capital authorities explained this measure by large amount of accidents and ignitions. "We didn`t have this measure before, - said vice-prefect of Central region Alexander Litoshin. - Police will try to reduce unsanctioned use of fireworks at most, though it is impossible to liquidate all of them". It is unknown how law machinery workers will control use of fireworks and will this amusement lead to penalty.
