Polluted waters reached village Dalianhe of Yilan district.
According to data by 4:00 a.m. (23:00 of Friday by Moscow time), concentration of nitrobenzene compounds in this region reaches 0.0850 mg/liter, which 4 times exceeds maximum allowable concentration.
Large north-eastern Chinese town Jiamusi is the next on the way of benzyl spot. Despite the fact that Jiamusi is supplied with drinking water not from Sungari but from underground sources, it was decided to shut supply of water from river down.
By estimates of local authorities, the main part of polluted waters will reach the town on Tuesday, but water has been shut down on Friday evening.
Citizens of villages, who live near town, are prohibited to use water from shallow wells.
Supply of bottled water to Jiamusi is sharply increased.
