As republic Central Election Committee informed, 4 millions and 317 thousands of people came to election centers. Election will be considered valid at any attendance of electors.
According to exit-poll, 83% of electors voted for current president of the country Nursultan Nazarbaev.
Observers from Organization of European Security and Cooperation announced that election is held without violations. "Process of voting is calm, without excesses and violations. A considerable progress in comparison with previous election is noticed".
Nazarbaev himself voted today in Astana and declared that presidential election in Kazakhstan is held in democratic conditions. Kazakhstan president noted: "Election is an alternative choice; all candidates are in equal conditions".
